A note on privacy
I’m fine with using DMs on X, Mastodon is a bit trickier. I advise you to choose the channel that’s most comfortable for your contact. I will let you know if I’m uncomfortable with a contact method.
For your consideration: Mastodon stores direct messages in plaintext and allows for some people to see these messages. X similarly doesn’t provide end-to-end encryption for free users and has had problems with data retention in the past.
For reasonably private communication, please contact me by email on [email protected] — if you prefer end-to-end encryption, send your emails from a Proton email address yourself.
